Zur Person

1993. BA double degree in Communication Studies, German Studies and Law (2011-2015) at the Ludwig-Maximilians University of Munich. Master's degree in Communication Studies (2015-2017) at the Ludwig-Maximilians University of Munich. Awarded the Best Thesis Award for a master's thesis on the dissemination and use of the term "Lying press" in the Facebook network of PEGIDA, an anti-Islam, right-wing political movement in Germany. Parallel to her master's studies, she worked as a research assistant at the Munich Digital Institute (2015-2017).

Between February 2018 and June 2019, research assistant for political communication at the Department of Media and Communication (IfKW) at Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich (with Carsten Reinemann). Between July 2019 and December 2022 PhD student at the Department of Communication and Media Research (IKMZ) at the University of Zurich and collaborator in the DFG-funded project "Political Opinion Formation in Times of Social Media" (with Thomas Zerback). Between May 2021 and March 2022 research and teaching assistant for the International & Comparative Media Research Division at IKMZ (with Frank Esser).

Since April 2022 research assistant for political communication at the Department of Media and Communication (IfKW) at Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich (with Carsten Reinemann).
